On the road to Newcastle!
Saturday, October 29th, 2011On the road with Paul Wale from Beneath the Oak. We’re playing Stepneys Bar in Newcastle tonight!
Could the first Child Loses Arm album finally be on its way?
Thursday, July 28th, 2011I thoroughly enjoyed playing the Sky Rack last Friday! The set went down so well, I have decided that I absolutely have to record all the Child Loses Arm tunes properly. It’s time I stopped mucking about and actually did something with them, as they are too good to stay half done. It’s been hard finding the spare time for this, but you will see the first batch of songs uploaded next month.
You will also see some new Creeks songs soon, as we recorded last weekend at 309! As soon as the vocals are finished we’ll be mixing and mastering that too! Exciting times eh?

Child Loses Arm on Independence Day, Milo’s, Leeds
Friday, June 17th, 2011Thanks to Hayley G for the invite to play! Seen as it will be independence day I will do it err independently…
Last solo set at Verve seemed to go down well.
This time I will brave an acoustic version of Dissimulate! I might throw an Ether song into the mix too… but which one?
We Have Won!
Monday, February 21st, 2011WE’VE WON! The government has just confirmed they’re totally scrapping the forest sell-off. The phoney consultation has been cancelled. The sinister legal changes to pave the way for privatisation have been dropped.
We did this together. Next time someone tries to tell any of us that signing petitions or emailing our MPs doesn’t work, we’ll know exactly what to say: “People power does work. Just look at the Save Our Forests campaign”.
Over half a million of us can feel very proud of what we’ve achieved together today.
See the 38 Degrees Website or Facebook for more info, or to share your view.
Chilli Loses Arm
Wednesday, February 16th, 2011Jamie to eat raw chillis on stage while singing songs on Sunday 20th February at Verve, Leeds! Come and watch, it will be funny!

Save our forests
Thursday, January 27th, 2011The government is planning to sell off all our forests.
Please sign the petition now if you want to help stop this:

The more of us that take part, the stronger the message will be and the more likely we are to save our forests.
Peace and love,
Child Loses Arm

Latest Publicity Stunt
Sunday, September 5th, 2004We can exclusively reveal that the rock band, ‘Child Loses Arm’, are planning to amputate their guitarist’s left arm at a gig at Escobar in Wakefield on Thursday 9th September 2004. The show starts at 8pm and the band are expecting a full house.
The band are being supported by local band, ‘Callous’. We are unable to confirm if Callous are planning any such publicity stunts. We couldn’t be bothered to look into this story any further, so we went to the pub for lunch. We had three pints of Guiness, a packet of peanuts and a pickled egg.
